The Centre for the Children’s Book is dedicated to the British children's book. The centre will open in an imaginatively converted Victorian mill in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle upon Tyne in 2005. The Centre will feature exhibition galleries an online research an online collection and research facility, Children’s Discovery Centre and Bookshop and an arts and events studio.
